Kisumu Set to Host Kenya’s First Business Ecosystem Summit

In a landmark event for the country’s business landscape, Kisumu is gearing up to host Kenya’s first-ever Business Ecosystem Summit. The much-anticipated event, organized by the IMC People Ltd in partnership with the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB), is set to take place on September 1st.

The summit will be led by LREB chair Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o and attended by 13 governors from other member counties, including deputy chair H.E Ken Lusaka, emphasising a public-private collaboration. Officials from various ministries, Senators, MPs, and Governors will be present, acknowledging business ecosystems’ importance in fostering economic growth.

The Business Ecosystem Summit aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth within Kenya’s entrepreneurial landscape. The summit will bring together key stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and industry experts, to share insights, exchange ideas, and develop strategic partnerships.
