5 killed, several injured in an accident along Nakuru-Eldoret road

Five people have been killed while several others injured in a tragic accident that occured on Thursday 1:40am at Mlango Tatu area along the Nakuru Eldoret Highway.

According to the National Police Service three people died on the spot while two others died while receiving treatment at the Eldama Ravine Subcounty hospital.

Preliminary investigations by the police indicated that the accident involved a Mistubish bus and 3 other vehicles including a Toyota Probox.

” Investigations indicate that the accident involved a Mistubish bus and 3 other vehicles including a Toyota Probox. Several passengers have been rushed to Eldama Ravine Sub-county Hospital for treatment but two more unknown passengers have succumbed,”

The police added that the injured were rushed to Eldama Ravine Sub-county Hospital for treatment while the deceased have been preserved at the same hospital Morgue awaiting Autopsy. Efforts are underway to clear the road obstruction.
