LG Rolls Out World’s Largest OLED TV

LG electronics has announced that the world’s largest OLED TV, the LG OLED Evo Gallery Edition TV, Model 97G2, will soon be available for purchase in Global Markets. Dates for specific launches will be made public in the coming weeks.

The brand-new model will be on display between September 2 and September 6 at the IFA 2022 in Berlin as part of LG’s enlarged selection of premium TVs, which now includes an increasing number of outstanding ultra-widescreen sizes created for memorable home viewing experiences.

At its IFA exhibition, the company will also feature models from its excellent OLED, Micro LED, and ONED TV ranges to highlight the variety of its cutting-edge display technology.

With the introduction of its largest screen size yet, the 97G2 uses LG’s self-illuminated OLED technology to give an immersive viewing experience on a grand scale. The company’s 2022 OLEDTV portfolio now includes outstanding 42-,48-,55-,65-,77-,83-, and 97-Inch options.

OLED TVs will make up 66 percent of the European premium TV market by 2023, according to a recent market research estimate, up from 55 percent this year. According to the report, global shipments of TVs larger than 70 inches will amount to roughly 14.9 million units in 2022, rising to almost 17.5 million units the following year. With its expanding line of large and ultra large screen OLED TVs, LG is well positioned to maintain its hegemony over the premium TV market in Europe and globally.

The 97-inch LG OLED Evo Gallery Edition TV, one of the outstanding models in LG’s lineup, makes use of the company’s OLED Evo technology, (Alpha) 9 Gen5 AI Processor, and cutting-edge picture algorithms to produce lifelike images and a truly immersive cinematic viewing experience. The 97-inch model from the G2 series also features LG’s flush-to-the-wall Gallery Design, which creates a seamless integrated aesthetic and instantly elevates even the most luxurious home theatre.

Headlining LG’s stunning lineup of 8k TVs at IFA, is the 88-inch LG SIGNATURE OLED 8K (model 88Z2) and 86-inch QNEDTV (model 86QNED99).Both Ultra large models combine jaw dropping size the superior sharpness of the 8K(7,680×4,320) resolution and LG’s latest display technologies to make the content of any genre more immersive.
