Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) booked their place in the 2025 UEFA Champions League final after a 2-1 victory over Arsenal in the semi-final second leg on May 7 at the Parc des Princes. With this result, PSG advanced 3-1 on aggregate and are set to face Inter Milan in the final on May 31 in Munich.

Arsenal came into the match trailing 1-0 from the first leg and started with intensity, creating early chances through Bukayo Saka and Martin Ødegaard. However, PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma continued his heroic form, denying the Gunners with several crucial saves that kept the aggregate lead intact.

PSG took the lead in the 30th minute through midfielder Fabián Ruiz, whose long-range effort deflected off an Arsenal defender and left goalkeeper David Raya wrong-footed. The goal shifted the momentum firmly in PSG’s favor. After the break, Achraf Hakimi finished off a clinical counterattack in the 52nd minute to extend PSG’s advantage to 3-0 on aggregate.

Despite the setback, Arsenal showed resilience and continued to attack. Bukayo Saka gave the visitors a lifeline in the 77th minute with a well-placed finish from the edge of the box. However, it was too little too late, as PSG’s defense held firm in the closing stages.
