Detectives in the United States have unearthed a scandal where two Kenyan nurses were involved in a  conspiration that swindled Boston State $100 million in healthcare fraud.

Reports also say the two owned several multimillion properties and operated more than 40 bank accounts.

The two were arraigned in court on September 8, 2022, with Waruru pleading guilty to the six counts related to the scandalous deal. Newton denied the charges and the case is set to continue.
