ACTOMS To Take Over the Production of Schneider Electric Kenya Switchboards

Schneider Electric and ACTOM Kenya have united in a deal confirming ACTOM’s intent to take over the production of Schneider Electric’s switchboards. The deal will see Schneider Electric Kenya Ltd. transfer its operations, assets, and personnel to ACTOM. It will also entail the company’s assembly and manufacturing plant employees continuing with their professional journeys with ACTOM while upholding the high standards of work provided by Schneider Electric across the globe.

The country president for Eastern Africa at Schneider Electric, Carol Koech, said that their agreement with ACTOM undoubtedly aims at strengthening their strategic ambition to prioritize their digital offerings, software, and services to in turn enhance their service offerings to customers. She further added that Schneider Electric still remains committed to their East African business, and moving manufacturing operations to ACTOMS is an indicator to focus on positioning the company with vital technology partners. Mervyn Naidoo, ACTOM CEO said that that the union will be a platform for the broader ACTOM group to enter East African Market and embrace East African economies through offering job opportunities.

ACTOM is the largest manufacturer and distributor of electro-mechanical equipment in Africa.t offers a winning and balanced combination of manufacturing, repairs, projects, and distribution through its 33 outlets in Sub-Saharan Africa and across the globe.
