Collins Injera

Kenya Rugby Sevens legend Collins Injera has retired from his professional rugby career.

In an emotional statement shared on his social media platforms, Injera said he was of no regret leaving the stage, as he has achieved everything he would have wished.

“As hard as this is for me, after 17 years of literal blood, sweat and tears, it’s time to step away from this great game that has given me so much more than I could ever ask.”

Injera has said that he will continue with humanitarian activities henceforth, saying, “For my next chapter, I will continue with humanitarian work…”
