Media Personality Terryane Chebet Recognized By Meta

Renowned media personality Terryanne Chebet received accolades for expanding her skincare business, Keyara Botanics, which makes skin care products, through social media platforms.

The former Citizen TV journalist was recognized alongside five other business people that have used Meta platforms as part of the Good Ideas Deserve To Be Found campaign, which was launched on Friday, December 2.

Chebet’s products were also recognized because the raw materials utilized in their production came from continent-wide nations. The former news anchor also showed trust in social media’s ability to grow businesses around the world.

“I am delighted to be recognized by Meta for our innovative use of social media to grow our business.

“This is a testament to the unlimited opportunities provided by Facebook and Instagram for budding entrepreneurs to breach traditional boundaries and reach wider markets,” she said.

Chebet’s business was established in 2016 following her departure from Royal Media Services (RMS). The business owner is also a public relations and strategic communications officer.

Keyara Botanics is a global leader in natural skincare that is sourced ethically from Africa’s most premium oils including, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Coconut oil, Macadamia Oil, and Black African Soap.

Meta, formerly named Facebook, Inc., is an American multinational technology conglomerate based in Menlo Park, California. The company owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, among other products and services. It is considered one of the Big Five American information technology companies, alongside Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft.
