Founded in the late 1990s, Rachier & Amollo Advocates which is run by the Rarieda member of parliament Otiende Amollo and Gor Mahia Football Club Chairman Ambrose Rachier, provides a full range of legal services to commercial and private clients.
Speaking on Sunday, October 2, 2022, in an interview with NTV Rachier gave a detailed description of the freemason movement citing various steps on how to join, ranks involved as well as rules and secrets to the cult.
“Freemasonry in Kenya is divided into three. Others in the secret society serve as juniors, while others are in apprenticeship positions. Before becoming a master in freemasonry, one becomes a fair craft person.”
“There are others that go on to the highest degree that you can get to, which is what we call the 33rd degree,” Rachier explained.
According to Rachier, in order to join the secret club, a member’s recommendation is required.
“First is when you get to hear bout it, and you are lucky to get in there, I am saying lucky in the sense that unless you hear it from somebody else, you may never be interested in it,” Rachier stated.
Rachier’s statements elicited mixed reactions as many Kenyans took to social media to give their sentiments.
