The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has released the official timetable for the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations, outlining a comprehensive four-week assessment period that will test candidates across multiple subjects. The examinations are scheduled to commence on Thursday, October 31, 2024, and conclude on Friday, November 22, 2024.

The examination schedule reveals a strategically planned progression of subjects, beginning with Home Science and Computer Studies in the first week. The timetable is structured to optimize student performance, with morning sessions typically running from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM and afternoon sessions from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Core subjects are distributed thoughtfully throughout the examination period. Week two features critical subjects including English, Mathematics, and Chemistry, with the Chemistry practical examination scheduled for Friday of that week.
