President William Ruto is today celebrating his 57th birthday. This was made evident through first lady Rachel Ruto’s heartfelt message to Ruto.

Rachel Ruto disclosed that today also marks their wedding anniversary with the president.

You are a truly inspirational figure. You have certainly earned your place in history! HBD William President William Ruto,” stated Omanga.

These heartfelt messages have, however, sparked an online uproar, with some netizens wishing the president a happy birthday while others did not hold their disappointments with Ruto’s administration.

“Tell him you can’t lie to Mt. Kenyans twice. Hio, moja ilitosha. We don’t know him in ’27.” One Boniface Mwangi tweeted.

Nuru Okanga, who was once charged with insulting President Ruto on November 30, did not withhold his comments, calling Ruto a  ‘fake promises man’.
“Happy birthday to fake promises, man,” he tweeted.
