President William Ruto is today celebrating his 57th birthday. This was made evident through first lady Rachel Ruto’s heartfelt message to Ruto.

Rachel Ruto disclosed that today also marks their wedding anniversary with the president.

“Happy Birthday, Bill, my cherished friend and confidant. On this momentous day, as we celebrate your birthday and our wedding anniversary, I am filled with gratitude. Reflecting on the journey we’ve shared, I am reminded of the verse from the Bible: “There are three things that will endure: faith, hope, and love—the greatest of these is love. 1st Corinthians 13:13

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua also wished President Ruto good tidings on his 57th birthday.

“Happy Birthday, my brother and my friend, President William Ruto,” Gachagua tweeted.

Formerly nominated Senator Millicent Omanga called President Ruto an inspirational figure who has earned his place in history and described him as a truly spectacular leader. She also expressed wishes for continued success.

“Many happy returns to a truly spectacular leader. I’m wishing you all the success possible. God bless you for all your efforts in leading our great country towards better days. You are a truly inspirational figure. You have certainly earned your place in history! HBD William President William Ruto,” stated Omanga.

These heartfelt messages have, however, sparked an online uproar, with some netizens wishing the president a happy birthday while others did not hold their disappointments with Ruto’s administration.

“Tell him you can’t lie to Mt. Kenyans twice. Hio, moja ilitosha. We don’t know him in ’27.” One Boniface Mwangi tweeted.

Nuru Okanga, who was once charged with insulting President Ruto on November 30, did not withhold his comments, calling Ruto a  ‘fake promises man’.
“Happy birthday to fake promises, man,” he tweeted.
