Kenya iPay and Visa have partnered to unveil “Tap Ulipe”, an innovative solution that integrates Visa’s Tap to Phone technology into the sleek and portable MobiGo 2 device.
The device, comparable in size and functionality to contemporary smartphones, is set to simplify digital payments for small businesses across Kenya, revolutionizing transaction methods in the country.
“Tap Ulipe” eliminates the need for bulky POS machines and provides a diverse range of transaction solutions, propelling merchants beyond conventional payment methods. Through the “Tap to Ulipe” app, accessible on NFC-enabled smartphones via the Google Play store, merchants can seamlessly accept hassle-free contactless payments.
