Two Kenyans killed in fiery car crash in Gosnells, Australia

Two Kenyan nationals have died in a horrific car crash that left their vehicle engulfed in flames on a Perth highway.

According to Austalian news outlet, news.com.au, the incident occurred around 2.10am on Sunday, January 21, 2024, on Tonkin Highway near the Albany Highway exit in Gosnells.

According to a WA police spokesman, the vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree before bursting into flames.

“Emergency Services attended the scene but sadly the occupants of the vehicle are deceased,” the spokesman said.

The victims have been identified as Humphrey and Penuel, members of the Kenyan community in Western Australia.

A witness who posted on Facebook said he saw the tragic scene while driving on the highway.

“RIP to Humphrey and Penuel. Kenya Community in Western Australia are grieving over the terrible incidents on the 21st of January 2024 along the highway to Gossell. Time 2:00 am witnessed by one of KTV representatives,” the witness wrote.
