Naivas Supermarket will open three more locations before Christmas, bringing the total number of outlets in the country to 91.

Naivas Foodmarket Ojijo in Parklands will open today December 9, followed by Naivas Nairobi West (December 10) and Naivas Express Uthiru(December 15).

Its growth corresponds with the holiday season in December, when Kenyans celebrate Christmas and New Year’s by going shopping and buying presents for family, friends, and colleagues.

“This new development was motivated by the need to offer convenience to our shoppers by offering them a world-class shopping experience at their doorstep. We have not had a presence in all these three places and we are elated to be welcoming more communities into Team Naivas,” said Willy Kimani, Naivas Chief Commercial Officer.

Additionally, shoppers will take advantage of discount specials and a variety of freebies, including 65-inch TVs from Coca-Cola, “Mbuzi,” Ksh200 cash backs from Visa, and Naivas gift cards.

The supermarket also recently opened a new outlet at Kahawa Sukari, Nairobi. The new development came barely a week after the 86th store opening in Meru at Greenwood Mall, Meru Town. The new store that covers 30,000 square feet of trading space put Naivas store tally at 87 with the three new branches putting the total number at 91.
