Miftah Concierge, a Dubai-based leading provider of luxury lifestyle services, has launched operations in Africa with the establishment of an office in Nairobi.

The market entry coincides with the appointment of Saruni Lelaona as the CEO of Miftah Africa, who will spearhead the company’s pan-African operations from its new Nairobi headquarters.

Originally founded in Dubai by renowned African hoteliers Oscar Kato and Pascaline Nkwe, and UAE-based hotelier Illyas Bafouri, Miftah Africa aims to provide its elite clientele uncompromising service, promising response times of 60 seconds or less.

“Concierge service is fundamentally about people,” said Kato. “At Miftah, we don’t just create time. We curate unique moments. From exquisite dining to opulent travel and accommodations, we make every instance an unmatched experience. Our goal is to facilitate a life of limitless luxury for our clients.”

Members have 24/7 access to Miftah’s team of lifestyle managers through a state-of-the-art app.

Lelaona brings experience in finance, business development and relationship management to his new role as Miftah Africa CEO. His leadership background in the region will help tailor services to the African market, the company said.

“I am ecstatic to join a visionary team that aims to redefine luxury lifestyle experiences, particularly here in Africa, a continent rich in culture, diversity and opportunities,” Lelaona said.

With Africa increasingly a focal point for investment, climate action and natural resources, Miftah Africa offers clients “unparalleled opportunities for both leisure and investment,” said Nkwe.

“Our services introduce them to Africa’s splendid fauna and flora, diverse cuisines, and unmatched cultural experiences,” she said. “We excel in creating convenience and efficiencies that allow our clients to maximize their time and investment.”

Miftah Concierge offers bespoke services in tailored travel, luxury lifestyle, health and wealth management, personal executive assistance, relocation and real estate.

Headquartered in Dubai, Miftah has served elite clientele throughout the Middle East since its founding in 2021. The Nairobi office marks its first expansion into the African continent.
