The High Court has once again postponed the judgment of former TV star Jackie Maribe and her ex-fiance, Jowie Irungu to January 26 next year.

The two were charged with the murder of late businesswoman Monica Kimani.

Judge Grace Nzioka was supposed to deliver the judgment today but told the parties involved that she received the exhibits, which are crucial in helping her determine the case, as late as yesterday.

In other words, Nzoika asked for more time to scrutinize the exhibit in order to deliver a fair sentence.

The judgment was initially supposed to be on October 6, 2023, but was postponed due to reports that Lady Justice Grace Nzioka fell ill.

A new date of December 15, 2023, was set, but delivery of the verdict has once again been put off to January next year.

“I took time to write the judgment. We’ve made progress. But on Monday, I discovered that when the file was sent to me, not all exhibits were sent to me. So I made requests to receive them on Monday only for them to arrive on Thursday at 7 p.m. in three sacks,” Nzioka said.

The exhibits include clothes and bottles.
