John Tanui, the CEO of Konza Technopolis, also posted on social media to commemorate this wonderful occasion.

“We are elated by the news of winning the bid to host the 2024 World Conference of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP). We thank the members for the confidence in Kenya,” Tanui wrote.

IASP members most recently attended a high-level symposium on science parks as catalysts for innovation, which was organised by APEC. Participants came from throughout the Asia Pacific region.
