Following the official launch of the improved TLSContact Visa Application Centre in Nairobi, on Monday, March 6, Kenya is now prepared to print visas for the United Kingdom.

This is in response to a statement made by Dominique Hardy, Head of Visit Visas and International Network at UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), who is in Kenya for business.

Hardy announced the launch of the He Super Priority Visa service in Nairobi while speaking at a news conference. A Super Priority Visa (SPV) is an optional, paid service that clients in specific areas across the world can purchase in addition to the visa price, to receive a faster decision on their visa application.

Hardy announced that UK visas will now be printed in Nairobi, bringing the visa service back within regular customer service norms of 15 working days.

However, she urged clients to submit applications as soon as possible in the lead-up to the British Summer Peak time. The new service is a result of the modernization and advancement of UKVI procedures.

Customers who purchase the service will be able to receive a response to their application the following business day.

Jane Marriott, the British High Commissioner to Kenya, stated that the resumption of local printing in Nairobi is a sign of respect and proves their dedication to the Kenya-UK Strategic Partnership.

Hardy is in Nairobi for one day as part of a larger regional tour. She is meeting with government officials, business leaders, and colleagues at the British High Commission.
