Kenya International Trade Exhibition (KITE) 2023: A Gateway to Opportunities

Kenya is gearing up to host the largest global expo in Africa, showcasing its immense potential as an investment destination and an emerging economic powerhouse in Africa. The highly anticipated event, which kicks off this Wednesday, promises to attract thousands of participants from around the world. Since its inception 26 years ago, the event has grown immensely, with the 24th edition set to host 150 exhibitors and more than 12,000 trade visitors, which represents a 27.0% and 24.0% increase, respectively, from the 23rd edition held last year. With its vibrant economy, strategic location, and strong commitment to innovation, Kenya is poised to make a lasting impression on the global stage.

The trade expo will take place at Sarit Expo Centre, Nairobi, from July 5 to 7, 2023, and will bring together exhibitors and trade visitors from more than 30 countries showcasing multisector products, equipment, and machinery. The 2023 KITE has five categories covering the food, hotel, and agricultural sectors; the plastic, printing, and packaging sectors; the medical and pharmaceutical sectors; the industrial sector; and the consumer sector.

The global expo serves as a platform for Kenya to highlight its economic achievements and demonstrate its vast potential across various sectors. With a rapidly expanding middle class, a growing consumer market, and a favourable business environment, Kenya has become an attractive destination for both local and international investors. The expo will showcase key industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, technology, tourism, and infrastructure development, illustrating the country’s diverse investment opportunities.
