Bad news to those traveling through Kenya Airways for the festive season, as they may have their flights interrupted for two weeks.
The company has announced that some of its planes may remain grounded during the period owing to the challenges of acquiring aircraft spare parts.
The Chief Executive Officer and managing director of the company, Allan Kilavuka, stated in a statement that the airline will be extending flight grounding times as a safety measure because of the worldwide crisis.
“We anticipate that these circumstances may persist for approximately two weeks, and we want to thank you in advance for your understanding and patience during this time. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we are dedicated to resolving these issues as quickly and efficiently as possible,he stated.
Consequently, the CEO encouraged clients to visit the company’s website and mobile applications to check for updates on flight schedules.
“We are committed to providing you with timely information and support to help you navigate these potential challenges,” he stated.
