KCB targets high-net-worth individuals with premium cards

The Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), in partnership with Visa, a leading global payments technology company, have partnered to launch two premium cards: KCB Signature Card and KCB Infinite Card, tailored to cater to their affluent clientele.

These cards offer exclusive travel and accommodation perks worldwide and are only available by invitation to individuals earning between KES300,000 and KES1 million per month, and those earning more than KES1 million, respectively.

“The cards will provide unparalleled benefits and privileges that cater to the refined needs of our discerning clientele. We are confident that this offering will further elevate the bank’s premium proposition,” KCB Kenya Retail Director Jane Isiaho said.

“This comprehensive travel package also includes travel privileges like airport lounge access and preferential treatment at partner hotels and resorts worldwide. Moreover, these customers will have access to prestigious golf clubs and tournaments globally and have the flexibility to transact both in Kenyan shillings and United States Dollars,” the bank elaborated

Cardholders will benefit from accelerated rewards accumulation rates, backed by a dedicated 24/7 concierge service for travel planning and personalized suggestions.

“The two cards offer a unique blend of services and benefits that reflect the sophistication and financial needs of customers. With these cards, we aim to provide KCB customers with exceptional spending power, enhanced protection, and superior rewards,” noted Eva Ngigi-Sarwari, Visa Kenya Country Manager.

In late 2023,KCB also partnered Mastercard, to roll out the World Elite Exclusive Credit Card that offers premium and private banking customers a range of market-exclusive benefits, privileges, and experiences.

World Elite KES Credit, is tailored for high-net-worth individuals who prefer transacting in Kenya Shillings (KES) and World Elite USD Credit, designed for frequent international transactions in United States Dollars (USD).
