Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, stated on Sunday, March 10, he would not be part of President William Ruto’s government despite recent reconciliation efforts between the opposition and the Head of State.

During an interview on Inooro TV, Kalonzo dismissed rumors of a National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) handshake government as baseless. He clarified that although NADCO had developed a framework for national stability, it did not imply the opposition’s intention to join the government.

“There is no NADCO government because there is much work to be done. Collaboration is contingent upon this,” he asserted. Kalonzo expressed his readiness to remain in the opposition to advocate for the interests of Kenyans, emphasizing his current goal to challenge Ruto’s presidency.

Kalonzo expressed concern that agreements between Raila and Ruto might not align with his political agenda. He asserted that he had presented the NADCO report and would not accept blame if Raila and Ruto failed to implement it.
