Geoffrey Mwavizo Mchawia, Veteran KBC journalist, Producer is dead.

The Je Wajua and Dunia Wiki Hii program producer Mwavizo passed away from kidney failure while receiving treatment.

Among those who showered praise on the late Journalist was former Mayor Nathan Kihara, who commended his work ethic citing his unpublished works, notably the magazine peace and happiness.

“Before his demise, we were teaming up to launch a new magazine titled “Peace and Happiness” with Mwavizo as the Chief Editor,” Kahara stated.

Mwavizo worked as a senior communications officer in numerous ministries while holding government offices and serving the Kenyan media in a variety of capacities, including KBC and freelance.

He is survived by two widows Rose Msae Mwavizo and Anne Nyaguthie Mwavizo and five sons. Mwavizo passed away just a few weeks after seasoned journalist Catherine Kasavuli.
