New revelations have surfaced concerning the enigmatic demise of a 19-year-old  woman who was forcibly thrown off  a 10th-floor apartment on Saturday in Kasarani, Nairobi.

An inquiry launched by law enforcement into the matter disclosed that the victim encountered her unidentified male companion at a club before retiring to the short-term rental apartment for the evening.

Evidential photographs from the residence displayed blood splattered across both the living room and bathroom. Though the exact sequence of events remains unclear, it is said that the deceased met her tragic fate by being pushed to her demise, while her male counterpart by the name Lawrence Gitonga sustained injuries from eight stab wounds, rendering him unconscious.

The pair was initially spotted at an entertainment joint along Roysambu before relocating to the temporary rental residence situated in Thome, Kasarani. Following this, they purportedly departed for another venue, where they spent time drinking within the male companion’s vehicle before returning to the apartment.

Eyewitnesses residing in the apartment complex affirmed to the media that the incident unfolded during the early hours of Saturday morning. Upon the arrival of police at the scene, public access to the building was restricted to preserve the integrity of the crime scene.

Additionally, law enforcement authorities are anticipated to conduct an inquiry at a club located in the Roysambu vicinity, where it is believed the pair convened on Friday night before proceeding to Thome, where further consumption of alcoholic beverages occurred.

Detectives are meticulously analyzing CCTV footages and monitoring the final movements of the individuals involved to unravel the enigma surrounding the murder.

Gitonga, who was discovered unconscious within the premises and subsequently transported to Uhai Neema Hospital, is presently under police supervision at the medical facility, as he is regarded as the primary suspect.

Furthermore, the deceased 19-year-old girl’s body remains at City Mortuary while authorities seek out her family for notification prior to scheduling a post-mortem examination, expected to take place during the course of this week.
