The Pharmacy and Poisons Board has appointed Dr. Jacinta Wasike as the acting CEO replacing Dr. Fred Siyoi following his retirement after serving for a period of ten years.

Prior to her current position, Dr. Wasike served as the institution’s Director of Corporate Affairs. This makes her the organization’s first female CEO, and she is expected to guide the PPB with her 20 years of industry experience.
