Glovo has announced Caroline Mutuku’s appointment as the new general manager of Glovo Kenya. She is set to replace Priscilla Muhiu, who was appointed to the position in 2020.
Mutuku served as general manager of a tech business that aimed to transform Kenya’s mass transit system before being hired. Her prior expertise includes six years of management consulting at McKinsey & Co., where she concentrated on creating strategies, enabling their execution, and establishing digital capabilities for African banks and financial regulators.

“I am delighted to be taking on this role as the General Manager for Glovo Kenya and continue the good work that my peers have done. Caroline has also worked in the financial industry in Kenya, with organizations such as Standard Chartered and Equity Bank. She has a wide range of experience in digital, strategy, and execution. Throughout her career, she has been known for employing technology to solve challenges, resulting in considerable development and long-term benefit for the stakeholders involved.
