Tensions are high at Brookhurst School after a video surfaced showing a physical altercation between two students, prompting the administration to launch disciplinary proceedings and involve parents in the resolution process.

The widely circulated video depicts a heated disagreement that escalated into violence between the two pupils on the prestigious school’s grounds.

While specific details remain unclear, the jarring footage has sparked concerns over student safety and conduct standards at the elite institution.

“We do not condone any form of violence, conflict or discord among our students,” said Brookhurst Principal Hellen Nduhiu in a statement addressing the incident. “It is imperative that our school remains a safe and respectful environment for all.”

Nduhiu emphasized that the school is taking the matter seriously through its disciplinary channels and working closely with the families involved to promote understanding and reconciliation.

However, she acknowledged that conflicts can occasionally arise even at top schools.

“While we understand that within all schools – nationally or worldwide – conflicts may arise between individuals, it is crucial to handle them with maturity, respect, and empathy,” Nduhiu stated.

The incident has also allegedly drawn unwanted attention from online extortionists attempting to leverage the video for personal gain against the school. Nduhiu revealed that Brookhurst has initiated legal action to bring these individuals to justice for exploiting the situation involving minors.

“We have instituted the necessary legal measures in order to bring these individuals to the full glare of justice under the law,” she warned.
