Bolt has announced the appointment of Ms. Caroline Wanjihia as Regional Director for its Rid hailing Operations in Africa and International Markets (Middle East, Asia and LATAM).
In a statement yesterday, the company said that the appointment marks a significant milestone in its ongoing mission to optimize and streamline its operations in the region, to foster sustained growth and invest in local talent.

Bolt said Wanjihia would play a crucial role in overseeing the company’s existing regional operations and spearheading new strategic initiatives, including expansion across the continent.
Ms. Wanjihia will be based in Nairobi and will oversee and lead Bolt’s existing regional operations and new strategic initiatives, including expansion across the region.

Wanjihia has 15 years experience in Business Development and Operations Director. Having worked for Coca-Cola, Diageo, Barclays, PwC and Old Mutual in their business strategy and growth.
