Apple TV is now officially available in Kenya, marking the streaming service’s first ever entry into the country. The launch comes through an expanded iCloud+ subscription, which now bundles Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost for existing and new subscribers.
Starting this month, iCloud+ subscribers in Kenya will gain access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade as part of their iCloud+ subscription at no additional cost. Pricing remains unchanged, with the entry-level iCloud+ plan, offering 50GB of storage, priced at roughly Sh128 ($0.99) a month. Higher storage tiers are also eligible for the same bundled benefits.
The move forms part of a larger global rollout. Apple is expanding Apple TV into 59 additional countries, taking the streaming service’s international footprint to 170 markets, with the wider iCloud+ package rolling out across more than 100 countries and territories through the end of September.
Kenyan subscribers will get access to Apple’s original drama and comedy series, feature films, documentaries and children’s programming, including titles such as Ted Lasso, The Studio, Severance, Pluribus and the Academy Award winning film CODA. Apple Arcade adds a catalogue of more than 200 games, among them Football Manager 26 Touch, NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition and Hello Kitty Island Adventure, all playable without ads or in-app purchases, and with offline access on supported devices.
Family Sharing allows an iCloud+ subscription to be extended to up to five family members at no extra charge, giving them the same access to Apple TV and Arcade.
The bundle also adds Apple Music Select, a collection of ad-free stations featuring regionally relevant music. Subscribers wanting the full Apple Music catalogue can upgrade separately at discounted rates of $2.79 a month for an individual plan or $4.49 for a family plan.
The restructuring effectively winds down Apple One in Kenya. Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be sold as standalone subscriptions in the country once the rollout is complete. Customers currently paying separately for either service will be automatically transitioned to iCloud+, with their standalone subscriptions cancelled and Apple Arcade game progress preserved.
Notably, the offer does not extend to established Apple TV markets such as the US, UK, Canada and Australia, where the service continues to be sold separately or through existing Apple One bundles.
Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services and Health, said the change was designed to bring Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ users across more than 100 countries in a single, convenient subscription.
