This comes days after the launch of the Taifa Gas project in Mombasa. The head of State stated at Dongo Kundu that the Kenya Kwanza Government is working on a comprehensive plan to guarantee that local cooking gas is made accessible and affordable.

Ruto announced on Friday, February 24, that he would repeal all taxes on liquefied petroleum (LPG) gas in a memo to the Ministry of Treasury.

The President requested that KPC’s top management enhance capacity in order to offer reservoirs for less expensive LPG gas from Tanzania as they kicked the building of the TaifaGas LPG terminal in Mombasa.
