Gas Prices will drop from Ksh 2,000 to Ksh 300 by the month of June, according to President William Ruto.
The President stated that the move was intended to lower the cost of living while speaking at the KICC on Thursday, March 2 during the introduction of the Women Fund.
The new price, he continued, would vary from KSh.300 as a minimum to KSh.500 as a maximum.

On the other hand, he issued a warning to shady businesses who intended to abuse the directive, warning them that they would be scrutinized.
“I must warn those refilling gas because a number refill the gas on substandard cylinders which have caused a lot of harm. Your days are numbered. the President said.
Ruto gave the Interior Ministry the order to start registering all petrol stations in order to make sure they had licenses.
