CBK invites tenders for mobile application security solutions

The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has issued an invitation to tender for the procurement of software licenses and support for a mobile applications protection solution, specifically Guard Square, for a period of three years.

Tender Details:

  • Tender Reference Number: CBK/070/2024-2025
  • Scope: Procurement of software licenses and support for Guard Square, a mobile applications protection solution, to enhance the security of CBK’s mobile applications.
  • Tender Documents: Interested bidders can download the complete set of tender documents free of charge from the CBK website or the Government tender’s portal.
  • Submission Deadline: Completed tender documents should be submitted by January 15, 2025, at 10:30 A.M.
  • Tender Security: A tender security of Kshs. 50,000.00, valid for 170 days from the date of tender opening, is required.
  • Submission Address: Tenders should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with the tender reference number and deposited in Green Tender Box No. 3 at the main entrance, ground floor of the Central Bank of Kenya along Haile Selassie Avenue, Nairobi.
  • Opening of Tenders: Tenders will be opened immediately after the submission deadline in the Senior Staff Canteen Room on the 6th floor of the CBK Building.

Bidders are advised to forward their contact details to supplies@centralbank.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.

This procurement aims to boost the security of CBK’s mobile applications, ensuring robust protection against potential threats.
