Fatal head-on collision claims six lives on Narok-Mulot road

Six people have lost their lives in a road accident along the Narok- Mulot road in Narok County according to police reports. The fatal accident, which occurred in the Silanga area, saw a Subaru Forester colliding head-on with a Toyota Sienta while trying to overtake.
It was reported that all passengers in the sienta died on the spot while the Subaru driver sustained injuries . Police say that the Sienta, carrying 6 passengers, was heading towards Mulot while the Subaru was heading towards Narok.
“Upon reaching at the scene of the accident, the vehicles collided head-on when Subaru Forester tried to overtake another motor vehicle,” read part of the report.

The bodies have since been taken to Narok District Hospital Mortuary pending identification and postmortem. Meanwhile, the totalled cars have been towed to the Narok Police Station pending inspection.
