Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja has picked Absa Bank Chief Operating Officer James Njoroge Muchiri as his running mate in Nairobi Governor’s race.

James Muchiri takes the running mate position after losing in UDA primaries where he was gunning for the Nyandarua gubernatorial seat.

According to Sakaja, Njoroge will bring in vast skills and knowledge from the cooperate world which makes him the perfect choice of a running mate.

“He is willingly coming to serve the people and that is what Nairobians need in a servant. We will run the city of Nairobi professionally,” he said.
