Profit and Loss Consulting Limited (P&L Consulting) has emerged as the winner of the Overall PR Campaign of the Year award, at the annual 2022 Public Relation Society of Kenya (PRSK) Awards for Excellence, on Friday.

The business advisory firm, which has established an offering of specialized communication advisory, also picked up two additional awards for the Public Affairs Campaign of the Year and Crisis and Reputation Campaign of the Year categories, securing three awards during the PRSK awards for Excellence gala.

The crisis and Reputation Campaign award recognize the most effective issues, crisis, or reputational management work by a communication team. The firm managed the revival of Mumias Sugar Limited, which was coming out of receivership. The award of the miller’s operation lease to a suitor had been contested publicly and through courts, creating a crisis that had put the revival in limbo.

The awards event, which was held in Mombasa, attracted 68 entries in the 15 categories including the Overall PR campaign of the Year and the People Category Award.

Commenting on the achievement, P&L Consulting Managing Partner, Ms Mercy Randa said the firm is honoured and delighted to have received the prestigious awards.

“The continued recognition in the industry is a significant step for our firm, which we are proud of. This reflects our capacity to deliver exceptional service to our clients, and who continue to believe in us. This however would not have been possible were it not for the team synergy, integrated capabilities, and dedication.” Mercy Randa added.
