NCBA Group has announced the appointment of Kathryne Maundu as Group Company Secretary, pending relevant regulatory approvals.

Kathryne brings a wealth of expertise in Corporate Governance, particularly in the East Africa region, with a career spanning 19 years, and a specialization in guiding public listed companies.
This is underscored by her tenure as Company Secretary for three blue-chip firms listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange including Safaricom, EABL and British American Tobacco.
She has served as a Partner at Bowmans – Stamford Corporate Services LLP, overseeing the statutory and corporate governance responsibilities of company secretaries across diverse sectors. And has also worked with Deloitte in East African countries.
Her areas of specialization encompass Governance, Legal, and Company Secretarial services, as well as Bond/Note and Security Trustee services, Escrow Agent services, and Shares and Bond Registration Services.
Kathryne was recognized as one of the Top 40 under 40 Women in Kenya in 2018. And is an active trainer and facilitator at the Institute of Certified Secretaries as a trainer and is currently pursuing her LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law with the University of London, Queen Mary College.

Her affiliations include membership in the Law Society of Kenya, the Institute of Certified Secretaries of Kenya, and the Women on Boards Network. She also serves as a Council member with the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya and holds an independent Director position on the board of the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya.
