List Of President William Ruto’s Cabinet Nominees And Their Worth

On Saturday, October 22, 2022, the National Assembly’s Committee on Appointments completed it’s task of vetting President William Ruto’s nominees for Cabinet slots.

During the vetting, the issue of personal wealth featured prominently, with the cumulative wealth for all nominees hitting Ksh15 billion.

Prime Cabinet Secretary nominee Musalia Mudavadi is the wealthiest with his fortunes valued at Ksh4 billion, followed by Agriculture CS nominee Mithika Linturi at Ksh1.2 billion.

Cooperatives CS nominee Simon Chelugui has an estimated wealth of Ksh993 million while former Central Bank of Kenya Governor, who has been nominated National Treasury CS Prof. Njuguna Ndung’u has wealth approximated at Ksh950 million.

Aden Duale, who has been nominated for the defence docket said that his wealth is estimated at 871 million.

Trade CS nominee Moses Kuria revealed that his net worth stands at Ksh750 million while Attorney General nominee Justin Muturi placed his net worth at Ksh700 million.

ICT CS nominee Eliud Owalo revealed that his fortunes are estimated at Ksh645 million while Education CS nominee Ezekiel Machogu placed his wealth at Ksh590 million.

Transport CS nominee Kipchumba Murkomen is Ksh550 million while Interior CS nominee Kithure Kindiki is worth Ksh544 million.

Davis Chirchir (Energy) is estimated to be worth Ksh482 million while Mercy Wanjau (Secretary to the Cabinet) is worth Ksh475.

Ababu Namwamba (Youth, Sports and Arts) revealed that he is worth Ksh425 million, almost the same as Alfred Mutua (Foreign Affairs) whose net worth is Ksh 420 million.

Rebecca Miano (East African Community) is worth Ksh397 million while, Peninah Malonza (Tourism) is worth Ksh300 million. Alice Wahome (Water and Sanitation) is worth Ksh218 million while Florence Bore (Labour) is worth Ksh200 million.

Soipan Tuya Environment and Forestry is worth Ksh156, Salim Mvurya (Mining) has wealth estimated at Ksh120 million while Zacharia Mwangi (Lands) is worth Ksh80 million.
