Kenya Airways will increase its flight frequency between Nairobi and London starting next month to meet rising passenger demand, the airline announced Wednesday.

The East African carrier will boost its weekly flights on the popular route from 10 to 14 beginning October 29.

“Kenya’s national carrier, Kenya Airways has today announced the introduction of two daily flights to London effective 29 October 2023,” the airline said in a statement. “The airline’s customers can now choose between a morning flight via KQ 100 and an evening flight via KQ 102 allowing more travel options, convenience and flexibility.”

The airline said the additional capacity reflects growing demand on the Nairobi-London route, an important gateway connecting East Africa to the United Kingdom for business, leisure, trade and educational travel.

Kenya Airways will use Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, with superior fuel efficiency, on the route.

“The additional weekly flights will cater to the increased market demand for this route and growing passenger demand,” the airline said.
