Jumia To Sell Products For As Low As Ksh100 During 2022 Black Friday

The Standard Chartered Bank, I&M, and Absa have partnered with Jumia during the 2022 Black Friday to offer incentives through card payments, which include a 20% discount for payments made through MasterCard cards.

According to Jumia, the company’s seventh Black Friday will be held to support businesses by accessing more customers on the platform.

Among the top discounts will be a 14-seater matatu retailing for only Ksh100. To kick off the campaign. Jumia will go live with ‘Deal Za Soo’ (Buy For Ksh100) on November 3 at 11:59 Pm with Products like TV, phones, fridges, cooking oil and water dispensers.

“This year’s Black Friday is unique given the challenging business environment for our sellers as difficult economic times persist. The annual sales event, which was initiated in Kenya in 2015 by Jumia, has largely contributed to the adoption of e-commerce countrywide through massive awareness.

Jumia Black Friday will be in partnership with Transsion Holdings (Infinix, Tecno and Itel). As Platinum sponsors and other brand partners like Vison Plus, Xiaomi, Beefeater, Nivea, Garnier, and Gordons.

“We are happy to be part of this year’s Jumia Black Friday, where consumers can expect great deals on our latest products which include Tecno, Infinix and Itel brands,” Said Ray Fang, Transsion Holdings’ Kenya Regional MD.

Jumia Black Friday will run from to November 4 to 30, 2022.
