The esteemed proprietor of Mayfair Holdings, Amin Gilani, has passed away, as announced in a condolence message by Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o on Monday, March 4.

Nyong’o disclosed that the renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist breathed his last two days ago while undergoing medical treatment in the United Kingdom.

In his tribute to the departed entrepreneur, Nyong’o highlighted Gilani’s significant role in shaping Kisumu’s economy through his ventures, emphasizing his contributions to job creation.

“Gilani’s unexpected demise in the United Kingdom on March 2 has deprived this county of an invaluable investment partner,” Nyong’o lamented. “His enterprises have been instrumental in providing employment opportunities and bolstering Kisumu County’s investment landscape, notably in the realms of tourism and manufacturing.”
