Eliud Kipchoge Appointed Phantom X2 Brand Ambassador

World Marathon Champion Eliud Kipchoge, has been appointed by TECNO as the brand ambassador for the new Phantom X2 series. The Launch was hosted at the Global Trade Center (GTC) towers in Nairobi.

The new series, which consists of the Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro devices, will feature Eliud Kipchoge as its face. Its Dimensity of 9000 5G chipset from Mediatek powers the gadgets. For the normal edition, this is combined with 8GB RAM, while the pro version has 12GB RAM.

The phone, which launched internationally in December 2022, is scheduled to make its official debut in Kenya later this month. Customers may place pre-orders between January 5 and January 18, 2023.

Eliud Kipchoge said Innovation is the most important part for anybody to become better. He also reiterated that environmental protection is the most important part of protecting the next generation.

How To Make Pre-Orders

  • Deposit either KSh 6,000 or KSh 8,000 for the X2 or the X2 Pro respectively at TECNO’s stores
  • You can also do so through Jumia, Safaricom, or TECNO’s website
  • Once preorders end and you complete payment, you will get the phone, a leather backpack worth KSh 3,000, TECNO B1 Pro earphones worth KSh 3,899, and a TECNO smartwatch worth KSh 5,999.

He claimed that the use of recyclable materials in the making of PHANTOM devices made the partnership ideal. Kipchoge added that TECNO mobile devices have been available for almost 10 years.

Kipchoge intends to collaborate with the TECNO PHANTOM team to offer additional information to the public and keep them updated.

What To Expect

The Phantom X2 features a 6.8-inch Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz Touch Sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.A triple rear camera setup led by a 64-megapixel primary sensor. The phone is also powered by a 5,100mAh battery as well.
