Detectives are currently probing the suspected murder of a 13-year-old pupil at Joy Garden Primary School, whose lifeless body was discovered on a balcony within the school premises last evening.

According to the DCI, the school’s director Jane Kimani, reported the incident, stating that the class eight pupil, a boarder at the institution, was noted missing around 6:30 PM when she failed to appear for supper.

Following the report, a thorough search was conducted throughout the school’s eight-story building, leading to the discovery of the deceased pupil’s body on a first-floor balcony adjacent to the Director’s office.

“Upon examination of the body by Buruburu police, it was determined that the injuries sustained were inconsistent with those expected from a fall from a higher floor, as initially suggested by the school’s management,” DCI stated.
