Andrew Robertson Payne Appointed Non-executive Director For WPP Scangroup

The Board of Directors of WPP Scangroup Plc has announced the appointment of Mr Andrew Robertson Payne as a non-executive director effective August 5, 2022.

“Andrew has about 24 years’ experience within the advertising and media industry with a wide understanding of management
accounting and financial perspectives in the areas of digital, shopper marketing, data, out of home and technology build,” said Sacangroup board chairman Richard Omwela.

He has had close interactions with Scangroup since 2010.

He is currently the Group Associates Controller in WPP 2005 Ltd, a position he has held since 2008. Prior to this, he held the
position of Chief Operating Officer and CFO Kantar Media USA (2002 – 2008) and Deputy Chief Financial Officer Kantar Media
(1998 – 2002). He has been a board member on various boards and currently serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of Syzygy AG since 2018.

He holds a BA Economics and Politics, University of Durham and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK).

“The Board is confident that the Company will benefit from Mr Payne’s skills, knowledge, extensive leadership and industry experience and welcomes him on the Board of Directors of the Company,” Omwela added.

The Board has also accepted the resignation of Mr Andrew Balfour Scott from the Board of Directors with effect from August 4,  2022. Mr Scott steps down from the Board having served since his appointment in 2008.

“The WPP Scangroup Board thanks him for his strategic counsel and his contribution in support of the Company’s development and transformation throughout his tenure,” Omwela added.
