Absa Bank Kenya Appoints Carolyne Kendi As Chief Marketing Officer

Absa Bank Kenya PLC has announced the appointment of Carolyne Kendi to the position of Chief Marketing Officer, effective December 15, 2022.

Kendi brings onboard a wealth of experience in the practice of marketing and brand building having worked in multiple industries and markets across East, West and Southern Africa in leading corporates including Unilever, Diageo and Safaricom.

“At Absa, she will play a critical role in leading the next phase of our brand growth journey, which is focused on entrenching our purpose of Bringing Possibilities to Life as we continue to play our rightful role in supporting Kenya’s economic transformation. She will be responsible for providing direction and oversight in the strategic areas of Brand, Marketing, Communications and Corporate Relations,” Absa said.

Kendi holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the United States International University – Africa, a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK).
