Kenya Power announces scheduled power outages in six counties

Kenya Power has released a list of areas across six counties that will undergo power outages on Wednesday. The power company has specified diverse times for these interruptions throughout the day.

In Nairobi, the affected areas, including Safari Park, Along Garden Estate Road, and nearby customers, will experience power interruptions from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

In Nyeri, areas such as Muruguru, Gwa Kigera, Kiamuiru, Githiru, Gwa Kuguru, FK Resort, Marua, Wambugu Motel, Mugwathi, Gikunju Maternity, Rukandu, and adjacent customers will face power disruptions from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Additionally, Gatunguru TBC, Gacharageini, Kiriti Secondary School, Kiriti T/Factory, Kagongo, Magomano, Mioro Market, Secondary School, Merereini Market, Irindi TBC, Kihiriga TBC, and nearby customers will be affected during the same period. Kanyama Junction, Kiamaina, Unjiru, Kiawarigi, Ichuga, Gathumbi, General China, Gathuini, Itiati, Kianjuguma, Kihuri, Gikore, Gitunduti, and adjacent customers will also experience interruptions from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

In Bomet, areas like Famous Gate Hotel, Fair Hills Hotel, Longisa County Referral Hosp, Greenfields T/Factory, Kisyet T/Factory, Mulot Market, Ajiwa, Amalo, Kuete, Kipturgut, Longisa Market, Kapkimolwa Quarry, Kiptobit, Kimase, Kembu, Chemaner, Kimuchul, Stoo, Tegat, Kipyosit, Kipsarwet, Kapjames, Koibeyon, Kakimirai, Tendwet, Olngoswet, and nearby customers will have power interruptions from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

In Uasin Gishu, areas including Tebeclan near Cereal, Kamukunji Estate, Kamukunji Primary School, Kibulgeny, Part of Block 10, and adjacent customers will experience power outages from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

In Kisii, areas such as Menyinkwa, Masongo, Misesi, Iyabe, Mwata, Nyachenge, Kamagambo, Marera HC, Kameji, Part of Tabaka Hospitals, Nyaonko, and adjacent customers will face power interruptions from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

In Embu, areas including Karurumo Catholic, Katambararia, Matururi, Kanjatiri Village, Kanduri, Ndumari Secondary School, Kavuru Primary School, Kangondi Primary School, Kageeri Market, Gatitu Market, Kune Secondary, and adjacent customers will experience power outages from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
